Sparkling Waters Have Returned

For those of you who were betting when the ice went out - the winner is Monday, April 16th, 2007. Tall pines and sparkling waters once again as well as sunny spring days are forecast for the next few days. Time to get out the hiking boots and look for signs of spring.

Spring is in the Air

For the past few days we have been noticing more and more signs of spring. The birds are arriving from the first arrival Robin to the increase in Gold and Purple Finches, Red Polls and various ducks landing in any open water, streams and melted lake shore areas. We will be watching for the first Moose sightings in the clearings.
